Amirdrassil the Dreams Hope

This page was an experiment for adding raids to the site, but I have decided to concentrate on dungeons only.

Welcome to the Amirdrassil the Dreams Hope raid guide. Here you will find the raid entrance location as well as a beginners map route around the raid and quick boss tactics.

This raid guide is based around normal runs but it will cover “LFR, Normal & Heroic” difficulties as a beginners guide.

Looking For Raid (LFR) is seperated into 4 wings:
Wing 1: – Incarnate’s Wake – Gnarlroot / Igira the Cruel / Smolderon.
Wing 2: – Molten Incursion – Volcoross / Larodar Keeper of the Flame
Wing 3: – The Viridian Weave – Council of Dreams / Nymue Weaver of the Cycle
Wing 4: – Fate of Amirdrassil – Tindral Sageswift / Fyrakk the Blazing

You can find the Amirdrassil the Dreams Hope entrance within Emerald Dream, Dragon Isles.
The coordinates are (27.6,31.1)
Get to Emerald Dream through a portal in Valdrakken city.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 2 phases repeating.
  • Add Fight.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism on pull or 2nd phase 1 with dps buff.
Phase 1:
Tanks taunt swap “Dreadfire Barrage” after every hit. Boss summons adds, stack them up & aoe. Avoid frontal cone “Shadowflame Cleave”. Players with large flame circles spread & take away from raid.

Phase 2:
Avoid standing under boss & move away from roots. Spread with red rings then touch the roots to burn them. When roots are gone the boss is vulnerable, use dps & healing cooldowns.

Heroic Differences:
Players with large flame circles stand over plants to activate them.
Soak red rings to get the debuff so you can touch & burn the roots.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 1 phase fight.
  • Single target with some cleave.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism on pull.
  • Mechanics change based on weapon soak order.
Tanks stack together for “Vicious Swing” & face boss away from raid. Taunt swap only when “Drenched Blades” stacks get rough. Spread with red circles but stay close to raid, dps spears. Dodge line of blades. “Marked for Torment” pick 1 weapon to soak.

Weapon Soak Mechanics:
Axe: Raid soak boss smash “Umbral Destruction”.
Sword: Boss leaps to furthest player, avoid landing spot.
Knife: Heal off healing absorbs to avoid explosion.

Heroic Differences:
Make 3 groups to soak 1 weapon circle each.
Axe: Split raid in 2 groups to alternate soaking boss smash “Umbral Destruction”.
Sword: Boss leaps will put lines of fire circles on ground.
Knife: Dispelling healing absorb will shoot orbs from player, dodge these.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 2 phases repeating.
  • Single target fight.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism on pull or p2 with dps buff from collecting orbs.
Phase 1:
Players with red circles run away & the rest of raid help soak fire swirl on tank. Tanks taunt swap after each “Brand of Damnation”. Heal off healing absorb, run from swirls before they explode. Move out of fire puddles under feet.

Phase 2:
Run over fireballs before they reach boss, they give you a damage/heal buff. Avoid the large fire rings around room.

Heroic Differences:
Tank with “Brand of Damnation” run away from group after fire swirl soak to take the bomb away (explodes after 6 secs).
Players with red circles also spawn flame waves, dodge these.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 1 phase.
  • Single target with lots of movement.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism on pull.

Tanks taunt swap during casts of “Cataclysm Jaws”. Run out with red circles. Avoid tail shadow. Swirls drop lava puddles, move out. When 2 large circles appear raid split & soak, stand on sides of circle to get knocked safely, repeat for other circles.

Heroic Differences:
Dodge fire waves from the tail smash.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 2 phase fight.
  • Single target with some cleave.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism p2 (35%).
Phase 1:
Tank with “Furious Charge” run from boss & other tank taunt swap during cast. Click seed to run around & clear fire. Focus kill tree adds & roots then heal them up. Raid stack in green barrier during “Raging Inferno”. Avoid spiral thorns.

Intermission:
After 3 “Raging Inferno” casts boss pulls raid towards him, stay away & use healing cooldowns.

Phase 2:
Tank face away frontal cone “Smoldering Backdraft”, taunt swap & stand near others to leech HP during debuff. 1 player in each embers ring. Run out with fire circle, heal off healing absorb or dispel stun. Avoid fire tornados.

Heroic Differences:
Take “Furious Charge” away from the raid.
Cycle players to clear fire on floor & spray dead roots.
Soak flame orbs before theey reach boss.
Tanks “Smoldering Suffocation” debuff lasts longer at 30secs.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 1 phase fight.
  • 3 bosses spread out, can only tank Urctos.
  • Keep bosses health even, kill close together.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism on pull.
Tank swap “Agonizing Claws”. Players help soak charge (red arrow) aimed at tank. Avoid flowers & careful of wind. Dispel “Poisonous Javelin” debuffs. If your a duck use sprint to run over 3 flowers then use “Preen”.

100 Energy Mechanics:
Urctos: During “Blind Rage” 1 duck player stand under boss & use “Preen” to stun him.
Aerwynn: Tank with “Barreling Charge” point arrow at boss.
Pip: Stand in the flowers to get rid of “Song of the Dragon” debuff.

Heroic Differences:
Tank face away “Agonizing Claws” cone.
Half the raid alternate & stand in the arrow “Barreling Charge”.
If your a duck before using “Preen” move away from others.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 2 phases repeating.
  • Single target with tree adds group split.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism on pull.
Phase 1:
Tanks taunt swap “Weavers Burden” then run away with circle to explode. Find safe spots to stand in, only cross glowing threads when needed as damage stacks. Avoid moving lines. Players stand in green growths to shrink faster.

Phase 2:
Boss casts “Full Bloom”, tanks mitigate circle then run through green patches to get to tree adds (left & right). Raid split & follow a tank. Do not let adds walk over glowing threads. Avoid frontal cone & green swirls.

Heroic Differences:
All players get “Weavers Burden”, run circle to edges of room to explode.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 3 phases with dragon riding intermissions between.
  • Single target fight with some burst cleave.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism p3.
Phase 1:
Tanks taunt swap “Searing Wrath”. Tanks alternate soaking fire mushrooms. Dodge blue swirls. Stack with red circles then dps roots. Dispel “Fiery Growth” off players, careful as drops large fire pool. Avoid moving fire beams.

Intermission 1:
Walk over a feather then use your dragonflying to mount up & fly north to the next platform, fly through green orbs for buffs. When you land dps through the bosses shield to stop “Supernova” cast.

Phase 2:
Heal through healing absorbs. Raid must run over all flame seeds to avoid a wipe. Repeats phase 1 mechanics.

Intermission 2/Phase 3:
Fly again but go south east & avoid the moving fire orbs. Repeats phase 1 & 2 mechanics.

Heroic Differences:
Boss spawns extra moving fire beams. Step on 1 flame seed each as you now take increased damage for 6secs, must step on all seeds to avoid wipe.

Quick Boss Tactics:

  • 3 phase fight with intermission between p1 & p2.
  • Mostly single target with adds in p2.
  • Bloodlust/Heroism p3.
  • Keep all fire away from roots during fight.
Phase 1:
Players with fire circle drop them off near the black pools. Tanks taunt swap frontal “Fyr’alaths Bite” & face it away from raid. Run away against the pullback. Healers dispel “Aflame”, this stacks.

Intermission:
Raid soak the fire orbs before they reach boss to avoid a wipe. Dps through the bosses shield quickly.

Phase 2:
Fyrakk starts on ground, taunt swap “Fyr’alaths Bite” & keep Dispelling “Aflame”. Fully heal the walking Spirits. Tanks take 1 Colossus each & take onto small adds for cleave. Mitigate “Molten Gauntlet”. Dodge swirls. Avoid flying breath through middle.

Phase 3:
Protect seeds from all mechanics, you can pick them up/put down. Use a seed to create green safe zone to stand in during “Apocalypse Roar”. Run out with red circles & avoid swirls & tornados. Tank use defensives & taunt swap “Infernal Maw”, this hurts.

Heroic Differences:
“Blaze” targets multiple players with a red line, spread the lines out. Dont hit spirits with lines or they will die if not fully healed. Pick 4 players to protect the seeds & assign order to use for “Apocalypse Roar”.
