The Stonecore

LFD Level: 81 – 85 (Heroic Level: 85)
Minimum Level: 81
Timewalking Level: 86+

To complete Looking for Dungeon (LFD) you need to ‘Defeat High Priestess Azil’.
You cannot skip the trash at beginning. You need to aggro the first pack with Millhouse Manastorm and follow him down until the first boss spawns.
In The Overlook the second boss Slabhide will drop rock shards on the path that leads to his platform, avoid the dark patches on ground.

You can find The Stonecore dungeon within Deepholm.
The coordinates are (46.9,51.7)


To get to Deepholm you need to take the portal located in Orgrimmar (horde) or Stormwind (alliance).

You will enter Temple of Earth, leave the building and fly up. Fly round the top of the building and you will eventually see a platform with a meeting stone on.


You should see the portal entrance.

Corborus-ModelCopy/Paste Macro:
/i Channels a Crystal Barrage at a players location, move away. Dampening Wave inflicts shadow damage to players & adds a healing absorb for 6 sec. Boss burrows underground, kill Rock Borers quickly. Avoid crumbling ground where boss will charge out of.

Heroic Differences: Crystal Barrage will also summon Crystal Shards mobs in the area.

Slabhide-ModelCopy/Paste Macro:
/i Move out of cracks in ground, avoid lava pools. Avoid Sand Blast cone in front of boss. Careful of the Stalactites (rocks) falling from the ceiling, avoid them.

Heroic Differences: Crystal Storm is cast after boss lands from creating Stalactites. Hide behind a Stalactite to avoid the storm.

Ozruk-ModelCopy/Paste Macro:
/i Slams the ground in front of him damaging all close enemies. Erupts spikes from his body for 10 sec, players who attack with melee or ranged will take ticking arcane damage, this stacks. When the spikes shatter they are fired damaging nearby players.

Heroic Differences: When boss slams the ground he also uses Rupture which causes 3 spikes to erupt in the direction he is facing, avoid these. Just before he shatters the spikes he uses Paralyze stunning all enemies for 8 sec.

High-Priestess-Azil-ModelCopy/Paste Macro:
/i Curse of Blood increases a players physical damage taken for 15 sec. Interrupt Force Grip. A Gravity Well is summoned at a players location, run away before it pulls you in. Kill Devout Followers during Energy Shield. Avoid the shard of stone thrown.

Rotten to the Core


Must be on Heroic difficulty.

Defeat 60 Disciples within 10 seconds during the High Priestess Azil encounter.

Start the fight as normal and engage the boss, wait for her to go into stage 2 where she hovers in the air.

When the boss has landed from doing her first Energy Shield gather all the mobs (should be 3 groups making a total of 60) and pop all cooldowns and damage reductions then have your whole party use aoe.

Disciples do spawn during the fight so you can add them back up to 60 if any die, be careful of them getting killed by bosses Gravity Well.

You should be able to get this achievement as long as you nuke them down with aoe at the same time to be able to kill them all within the 10 seconds.

You can also do this easier at higher level, aggro the 3 packs of disciples and engage the boss, immediately use your quickest aoe ability, this should let you kill the disciples before bosses Gravity Well does.

This achievement goes towards ‘Glory of the Cataclysm Hero’.

Pick up this quest from Earthwarden Yrsa at beginning of dungeon.

You need to obtain the Twilight Documents.

The Twilight Documents will be found somewhere on the floor near the 1st boss Corborus.


Once you have picked them up you can hand the quest back in.

Stonecore Teleporter

In The Overlook the platform that you fight second boss Slabhide on has a teleporter.


This Stonecore Teleporter will take you back to the beginning of the dungeon, you will be transported near the entrance.
